Evonik does not just produce sustainable products. We also produce them sustainably. We are constantly looking for ways to make our production processes more sustainable. Additionally, we intend to invest €700 million in Next Generation Technologies by 2023. These are measures at production plants and infrastructure that are geared to our goal of further reducing our CO2 emissions.

Evonik expands production capacity for DL-methionine in Singapore
The plant will reduce its production carbon footprint by implementing an electrolysis unit for green hydrogen supply amongst various energy integration measures. New cooperation enables Evonik to provide tire industry with silica made from biobased raw materials
Evonik is now able to supply sustainably precipitated ULTRASIL® silica to tire manufacturers. We use sodium silicate derived from rice husk ash (RHA), which is produced exclusively with biomass energy sources.
